Bar carts are one of the hottest trends, and I must admit I couldn't be happier about it! The biggest challenge is how to style them... Using a variation of heights, elements, and colors is a good place to start. Add unexpected elements for a more unique look. This is one of my favorite Pinterest finds! This is truly a showstopper...it's designed and manufactured by one of my favorite designers -- Society Social! This is truly an investment worth making! Let's add the necessities for making that perfect cocktail first! Here is a good check list to get you started: Cocktail shaker Bar tool set Ice bucket Decanter High ball glasses Champagne flutes Future bar cart additions: Margarita glasses Martini glasses Wine glasses - White & Red Pint glasses (for the men in your life!) She is the creator and producer of the For Your Home TV series and FYH Home Brands. We spent the afternoon wandering through a few of our favorite stores here in NYC, and one thing was very apparent… Copper is “IN”! Take a look below to see how copper tones can be incorporated into your home… Copper trays are the perfect accents that are also useful! Use them to serve cocktails, to create a grouping of accessories or candles, or to have the occasional breakfast in bed! These velvet and silk pillows would add a touch of elegance to any room! Don't be afraid to update your bedding with this bold trend either...try adding a copper throw; or for a more impactful punch, try copper sheets. Even the bathroom wasn't forgotten with this trend. Think about adding a hand towel to your already existing color scheme. Copper is a great tone to coordinate with other colors such as pale pinks, greys, and neutrals. These lighting fixtures definitely add drama! I love the contrast created between the metal and the crystal seen on the left as well as the sleek lines and finishes seen on the right. Copper pots are often only seen in high-end kitchens and used by professional chefs....not any more! If you're like me and your budget doesn't allow for real copper pots or you're just not interested in the high-maintenance up-keep; look-alikes will provide the same look without breaking the bank. Peruse your local Home Goods for copper-toned kitchen accents! Copper can certainly be an intimidating trend but by introducing it in small doses it can add just the right amount of chic flair without being over powering! Vicki and I sure did have a fun day exploring ABC Carpet & Home. It is an inspiration mecca for designers! Also, be sure to check out her show and follow her blog! Thanks for reading!
