Everyone pack your bags...we're goin' to Delray Beach, Florida!!! A few weekends ago some of my girlfriends and I packed our bags and headed down to Florida for some good old fashioned fun and to celebrate our friend Bri, the beautiful bride-to-be!! The weekend could not have been more perfect! From the weather to the margs, it was the perfect cure for our winter blues and the best way to celebrate our bride! Take a look below for all of the details! The perfect start to the trip... Junk reading, cocktails, and peanuts...Thanks Delta! Atlantic Avenue...the "main drag" Y'all...look at that water!!! The cutest "bridal bash swag"! Dining al fresco...I swear it makes the food taste even better! This is from the cutest store there ever was...the Snappy Turtle! And you best believe that that bag over there on the right came home with me! The Marriott Spa is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Only one street over from the beach and right at the start of Atlantic Avenue, it's in a perfect location. And their sun deck is the perfect place to catch some rays while you wait. Who doesn't love a photo booth!? Especially with the adorable bride! P.S. - Bri is the owner and creator of the store and brand Number Fourteen. Also, check out her blog Just A Girl Boss! The whole crew celebrating the "last fling before the ring"! Dinner at Dada was unbelievable! Not only is the food amazing but the atmosphere is perfect. Live music, alfresco dining under the candlelit trees, and an original sugar cane mojito... just dreamy! LA or Delray? Either way, it's the perfect spot for a photo op! During our stay, there was an awesome arts fair downtown. We spent Saturday morning strolling around, shopping, and of course brunching! Ice cream at the beach is a no-brainer, so a stop at Ben & Jerry's was a must! #teambride A view from the bridge over the Atlantic Intercostal Waterway. I'll take that boat right there please!! Meet Gwen the swan...she was the perfect ride around the pool and of course the perfect prop for a photo op! Our last night out was complete with a full out bash, hitting all of the favorite Delray Beach spots. We started at El Camino , then hopped over to Park Tavern, and finally Salt. We ended the evening singing karaoke back at the condo! It was such a wonderful weekend celebrating Bri and spending time with all of her girls! The Delray area reminds me very much of Key West. The easy, laid-back lifestyle; cute, walk-able downtown area; and amazing restaurants mean there is no shortage of F-U-N! Also, be sure to check out these hot spots: Vic & Angelo's Honey Boston's On the Beach Sandbar Johnny Browns Luna Rosa A big thank you to Kara for hosting all of us for a wonderful weekend and for showing us the Delray way! Thanks for reading! Cheers - MM

Y'all, If this screened in porch doesn't scream Southern Living magazine to you, I don't know what does! It doesn't get much more fabulous than this!! Indoor-outdoor living in the spring and summer time is a given, especially in the South! Just picture yourself in this space entertaining family and friends on a warm summer evening or taking a long, peaceful nap on a Sunday afternoon... dreamy right? This space exudes LUXURY, but I'll show you how to achieve this look for your own home with affordable pieces from Wayfair! Check out all of my favorite options below. Let's start with the focal point, which in this case is actually the floor. It makes such a statement! Now, no one wants to have to go through construction or a costly renovation to have black and white checkered floors, so we'll achieve the same look with a BOLD black and white rug! Since this room is partially open to the outdoors, we have specifically picked indoor-outdoor rugs that can weather the elements. Now for the main piece of furniture...the sofa! Something with classic, clean lines will allow you to add your own personal flair without overwhelming the room or becoming too busy. P.S. - A deep-seated sofa makes for great napping :) Those side chairs add so much character and old world flair amongst the bold patterns and bright pops of color. Here are a few similar options: I just can't get enough of those side tables!! The bright color is so bold yet blends with the space so nicely. Don't be afraid to try something so bright. I know it can be intimidating, but it's in a very small dose and gives this look that extra little push to FABULOUS! I love the use of a round tufted ottoman for many reasons--one, it's simply beautiful; two, it provides great extra seating options for when there's a crowd; and three, it can easily be transformed into a coffee table with the use of a tray! The traditional look of these will tone down the bold floor and the bright pops of color. Ceramic garden stools are another excellent multi-functional item. They are great as a small side table for a drink, or they serve as an extra seat for a guest. They are also easily movable within a space. Don't be afraid to group them in odd numbers; a collection of them really creates a dramatic impact. And last, but certainly not least, add the accessories!! The right accessories really finish the room off strong; don't skimp on these. And there you have it! The perfect multifunctional, indoor-outdoor space for your home! Spring is here and summer is on its way! Make sure you have the perfect place to enjoy the seasons with your family and friends...or alone if you'd rather make it a sleeping porch :) Thanks for reading! Cheers - Molly Spring is here for some of us and right around the corner for others... With spring comes many things: new beginnings... warmer weather... new blooms & blossoms... But most importantly, it's that time of year again for front porch sittin' and sweet tea drinkin'!! This is one of my favorite front porch scenes. Check out how to replicate this look on your own front porch, deck, or patio! Lets start with the paint colors
Now for the basic pieces Let's add the details For the final touches, add your favorite plants and greenery to a variety of pots &... Voila!!! Your porch is officially ready for Spring !! Thanks for reading! Cheers - Molly Y'all! It's safe to say I have a new favorite place... NASHVILLE!!! A few weekends ago I had the privilege of spending the weekend in this fabulous place with some great girlfriends! Check out below to see all of our favorites! You can't go to Nashville without going down Broadway! It's where all the famous bars and honky tonks are, and there is LIVE music EVERYWHERE! Here's a list of places to be sure to hit: Blue Bird Cafe The Stage Wildhorse Saloon Losers Coyote Ugly A visit to Nashville isn't complete without a visit to Tootsies! (Be sure to go all the way to the top.) Whiskey Kitchen is located in the midtown area. It's a great bar/restaurant with an American menu. They have a fun outdoor area complete with fire pits and TV's. Yes, we are dressed up for St. Patrick's Day; and yes, we proudly wore our tutus into the restaurant! Check out this Tutu Tutorial for how to make your own tutus for your special occasion. And...of course, the Nashville Pedal Tavern is a MUST! It is such a good time and a fun way to see the city! (This was one of my favorite things.) A visit (or stay) to the Gaylord and Opry Land is also a must! Pictures simply do not do this place justice. You feel like you are outside, but everything is totally covered! Plan to spend a few hours here wandering around, exploring, taking the boat tour, and eating at one of the many fabulous restaurants. Nashville is the perfect destination for a Bachelorette party! We had so much fun celebrating our friend Ashton, the beautiful bride-to-be! We stayed in an Airbnb property rental, but here are some other excellent lodging options right in downtown: Hyatt Place Downtown Nashville Omni Nashville Hilton Nashville Downtown Sheraton Nashville Downtown Draper James has quickly become Nashville's favorite photo op! We popped in for some quick shopping hoping to catch-up with our "friend" and Draper James creator, Reece Witherspoon. Sadly, she wasn't in, but we understand that she's very busy ;) Everything about this place is simply magical--from the clothes, to the displays, to the Southern hospitality--not one detail is overlooked. Be sure to read the full story of Draper James & shop the look here. Right next to Draper James is the Sprinkles cupcake shop...complete with their very own cupcake ATM. I mean does it get any cuter!? And yes, it really does automatically dispense your cupcake...we tried it out, just to be sure! Plus, their flavors are amazing- - you won't be disappointed! It seems like I just got home, and I'm ready to go back! Here are a few other favorite spots from my cousin Jill who is a Nashville expert. Trust me, you won't want to miss these! Pancake Pantry Loveless Cafe Jacks BBQ Rock Bottom Brewery Rooftop Nash Trash - BYOB comedy tour Hurry and book your trip to Nashville! Be sure to let me know what your favorite places are! Cheers Ya'll - Molly One of my favorite things on earth is Snail Mail... and I'm doing my part to make sure this dying art form lives on! So, I thought I would share some of my favorites with you... Tips and Tricks 1- If you're challenged at spelling, like I am, use technology to your advantage. Type up what you want to write first and run a spell check! 2- What you write doesn't have to be long, just meaningful. It's not about quantity; it's about quality! 3- Cute stationary is not always expensive. Check out the Target and Michael's dollar sections! 4-Write in whatever medium you're comfortable. I prefer the Extra Thin Sharpie pack-- the colors are great, and I can control my writing better than a ball point. Shop all of my favorites from this post here, and be sure to check out my favorite stationery spots... -May Designs -Paper Source -Papyrus -The Stationery Studio I promise you that you'll make someone's day by simply sending a piece of snail mail! Let's help make the world a happier place one note at a time--spread the cheer! Thanks for reading! Cheers - Molly |
